Aging is a fact of life, truly.  We are born, we live and then we die.  How we live, though, is what is important.  The anti-aging phenomenon has become more and more popular recently.  There is so much confusion now because so many products and fads claim that they have anti-aging benefits, so before we go any further let’s first look at what anti-aging means:  In literal terms, anti-aging means that we are opposed to aging.  That is all well and good, but we all do still age but we can make our lives a little better as we get older to protect ourselves from having a hard time during our golden years.

 

There are some specific anti aging methods available that are healthy and don’t really cost much.  First and foremost is diet.  Eat more fruits and vegetables.  This is the best thing that anyone can do to keep them healthy and possibly even extend their lives.  By changing your diet over to more vegetables and fruit, the literal raw ingredients of anti-aging are ingested into the body.

 

A particularly fun method is using chocolate, coffee, red wine and sex for anti-aging.  These sinful pleasures, in moderation, are very good for you.  Red wine, chocolate and coffee all have important antioxidants that the body needs to help the body repair the damage to the cells by aging and sex is a very positive thing; a body responds positively to sex and this, of course, reduces stress, hence, a longer life.

 

Exercise, along with diet, is a wonderful tool in any anti-aging arsenal.  Those who exercise have fewer health problems, on average, than people who don’t.  Their bodies just work better.  A combination of cardio, balance, strength and flexibility is essential for a beneficial anti-aging regimen.

 

Relaxation and sleep can be absolutely beneficial for anti aging methods.  Stress and sleep-deprivation both age the body horribly.  There is a huge need to get any sort of stress out of your life; it’s hard to do that with all of what life today has to offer but it is necessary for staying younger longer.  Sleeping, properly, for 7 to 9 hours per night, is essential because it does the maintenance work of the body during this time.  Health problems can arise from missing too much sleep.  So, get stress out of your life (try breathing, it actually works) and sleep a good sleep for life extension.

 

These methods will work if you keep doing them.  Diet, exercise, relax, sleep and generally have fun.  Laughter, they say, is the best medicine!
